NUSANTARA - The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, inaugurated the construction of the Nusantara Capital Authority (NCA) Office Building in the Core Area of the Nusantara Government Center (KIPP) 1A on Wednesday (17/1/2024). The construction of the IKN Authority Office is one concrete step in the preparation, development, and relocation of the national capital from Jakarta to Nusantara.
"I hope that the construction of the NCA Office Building can become a comfortable office building for the workers so that they can be more effective in their work and provide real-time services to the public," said Joko Widodo.
The Chairman of the NCA, Bambang Susantono, emphasized that the construction of the NCA Office is evidence of the government's seriousness in preparing Nusantara as a liveable and loveable city.
"The NCA Building is designed to blend with nature and adopts a smart, green, and sustainable office concept. This is expected to bring a new lifestyle and working style and become a role model for offices throughout Indonesia," said Bambang Susantono.
The completion of Phase 1 of the NCA Office is targeted for January 2025 and will be one of the icons and landmarks of IKN. It is hoped that the construction of the NCA Office can have a positive impact on the economy and the well-being of the communities around the Nusantara area.
The NCA office is built on an area of 2.5 hectares, with a building area of 16,075 square meters for Phase 1. The NCA office has six floors, with a workspace capacity of 6,578.5 square meters, and can accommodate around 600 employees. The NCA Office is equipped with green and smart features to support the green and smart city concept, including security systems, energy management systems, water management systems, waste management systems, transportation systems, and more.
