NUSANTARA – President Joko Widodo together with the ranks of Ministers of the Cabinet of Indonesia Maju and the Chairman of the Nusantara Capital Authority (NCA) invited dozens of arts activists, influencers and content creators to tour Nusantara while also reviewing the progress of the construction of the Istana Negara, on Friday (22/09/2023).

The President's visit to Nusantara together with arts activists began with a lunch together at the Hunian Pekerja Konstruksi. The arts activists seemed very enthusiastic about enjoying the lunch with the President. The President was seen going around the table while chatting and taking photos together.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the NCA, Bambang Susantono, expressed his appreciation to influencers, especially those from Kalimantan, because through their content, the public is increasingly educated about Nusantara. "I think it is important to involve national influencers, especially from the Nusantara, from Kalimantan to be able to participate in reporting on Nusantara. This also serves as a place for creativity and can also provide education to the public," said the Bambang Susantono on the sidelines of a working visit with the President.

This is a source of pride for influencers and content creators from the Nusantara and Kalimantan in general. "We are very happy now, we never thought that the Authority (NCA) is like our own family, we can be this close to the artists, we can be this close to Mr Jokowi directly," said William, one of the content creators from Samarinda who has Long domiciled in Sepaku District.

In line with this, Aper Sujayana, an original content creator from Sepaku District, expressed his happiness at being able to meet the President in person. “I didn't expect it, and I'm really happy of course. You can be that close to President Jokowi, you can even shake hands with him. It's really an opportunity I never imagined," he said.

The agenda continued to witness the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the NCA and PT Pertamina (Persero) at Sumbu Kebangsaan Barat. Not long after, the group moved on to the next location to inspect the progress of the construction of the State Palace where the first Garuda blade had just been installed.

The group was seen excited to see the progress of the construction of the State Palace, which was already starting to take shape. Influencers also documented these moments to immortalize and process them into various creative content.

Not only reviewing the progress of Nusantara development, the President also invited arts activists to enliven the Appreciation Night for Workers & Communities around Nusantara who have worked hard and supported the smooth development of Nusantara. This event, which is fully supported by the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), BNI, BRI and Bank Mandiri, presents well-known Indonesian musicians, namely Gigi and Wika Salim, as well as Ronal Surapradja and Hesti Purwadinata as hosts. The agenda then closed with dinner with the President, Ministers, Head of the NCA and arts activists at the location of Glamping.

On this occasion, William conveyed the President's message to influencers so that they could play a role in reporting on Nusantara. "So that this Nusantara can be known to the whole community, and all false hoax assumptions can be straightened out through explanations from influencers later," concluded William.

Also present accompanying President Joko Widodo were Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Minister of PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono, Minister of BUMN Erick Thohir, Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, Chairman of the NCA Bambang Susantono, and Deputy Head of the NNC Authority Dhony Rahajoe.
