Nusantara Capital Authority Invites PKN STAN Students to Participate in the Development of Nusantara

TANGERANG SELATAN – The Secretary of the Nusantara Capital Authority (NCA), Achmad Jaka Santos Adiwidjaya, invited students from the State Finance Polytechnic and the National Accounting College (PKN STAN) to participate in the development of the Nusantara Capital. This was conveyed during a Public Lecture on Public Sector Strategic Management at the PKN STAN campus in Bintaro on Friday (5/1/2024).

Secretary Jaka explained that Indonesia's effort to move its capital to a different island is a first in the world, and naturally, many challenges arise in the process.

"Building a new capital is undoubtedly not easy, but it is possible. And I believe that you (the students) are an essential part of the future that will turn all challenges into opportunities," he added.

PKN STAN Director, Evy Mulyani, mentioned that the background of the public lecture with the theme "Strategic Aspects in the Development of Nusantara: Challenges and Opportunities" is to boost the students' enthusiasm to contribute to Nusantara's development.

"There are many global investors who have been eagerly awaiting the implementation of the Nusantara development from the start. So, I believe we need even higher spirits," she explained.

Evy continued, "I hope that the students can optimize today's class by paying attention and ensuring that the news they have heard about Nusantara directly. This way, they can learn about the Nusantara development strategy from its discourse to the formation of the NCA and understand how to turn development challenges into opportunities."

The public lecture was moderated by the Vice Director of PKN STAN, Budi Waluyo. Accompanying the Secretary of the NCA were the Head of the Finance Bureau, State Assets, and Assets Under the Authority, Mujibudda’wah, and the Head of the Planning, Organization, and Cooperation Bureau, IGA Krisna Murti RS.
