NCA Receives LoI from SGC Holding Group and TechnoGIS at Hannover Messe 2024

HANNOVER - The Nusantara Capital Authority (NCA) once again received Letters of Intent (LoI) from two companies, namely SGC (Sui Generis Consultants) Holding Group and TechnoGIS at Hannover Messe 2024, Hannover, Germany, on Thursday (25/04/2024).

"The participation of the NCA at Hannover Messe 2024 is an opportunity for us to collaborate with the right companies. Through these LoIs, I hope that we can proceed to the next stage for investment with technology in their respective fields," said Secretary of the NCA Achmad Jaka Santos Adiwijaya.

The Secretary of the NCA received the LoIs directly from SGC Holding Group represented by CEO SGC Group Nicola Pinto-Tironi and TechnoGIS represented by CEO TechnoGIS Sarono.

One significant collaboration was formed with SGC Holding Group, an Australian company engaged in project management and consultancy in energy, infrastructure, and mining.

Through this LoI, SGC Holding Group commits to collaborate in three main aspects: (1) Utilization of alternative energy derived from waste; (2) Reducing dependence on coal through sustainable alternative energy; and (3) Carbon reuse, thereby contributing to efforts to achieve the Net Zero Strategy 2045 commitment. This demonstrates the strong commitment of the Nusantara in promoting sustainability at the national and global levels.

In the same context, opportunities for collaboration are also open with TechnoGIS, one of the best geospatial start-up companies in Southeast Asia. TechnoGIS focuses on environmental issues and offers solutions for natural disasters, forest degradation, as well as land mapping and surveying, mining and energy, and smart city development.

In a strategic collaboration between the NCA and TechnoGIS, TechnoGIS commits to (1) Providing dashboards to monitor environmental disasters through the GIS Platform and monitoring IKN areas with satellite imagery; (2) Analysis and human resources on environmental science, environmental analysis, and information technology; and (3) Monitoring Internet of Things (IoT) devices for environmental issues.
