NCA Promotes Nusantara Investment in Central European Countries

BUDAPEST – The Nusantara Capital Authority (NCA) was represented by the NNC Secretary, Achmad Jaka Santos Adiwijaya; Director of Green Transformation, Agus Gunawan; and Director of Financing, Muhammad Naufal Aminuddin made a working visit to 3 Central European countries, namely Hungary, Slovakia and Austria to promote investment in Nusantara, on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 – Wednesday, October 1st, 2023. Through this visit, the NCA has identified more than 10 business actors to follow up on their desire to participate in Nusantara.

The visit began with the Secretary of the NCA together with 6 other delegates attending an invitation from the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Hungary, Dimas Wahab on the agenda of the Investment Opportunities Seminar at Nusantara. On this occasion, Secretary Jaka, Director Agus, and Director Naufal explained the general overview of the Nusantara Preparation, Development, Transfer and Administration (4P) as well as the smart city concept and NCA development progress in front of Hungarian business actors.

Hungarian business people seemed very enthusiastic about welcoming investment opportunities in Nusantara in the question and answer session. More than 43 companies in the fields of urban technology, energy, waste, geospatial technology and water management were present on the Investment Opportunities Seminar agenda at Nusantara.

On the same day, a one-on-one meeting was also held between the Nusantara and several Hungarian companies, namely UTB Envirotec, a clean water processing company; KUUBE, which is a start-up company with mini shelter products with the concept of solar powered and smart benches which can be placed in open areas such as green open spaces; and Kesz Metaltech which is a company in the field of making modular building facades.

The agenda for presenting investment opportunities was also carried out in two other cities, namely the City of Bratislava in Slovakia which was attended by 15 companies in the fields of telecommunications technology (radar and defense), energy, smart cities and food and in the City of Vienna, Austria. In Vienna, the NCA delegation had the opportunity to visit the Aspern Seestadt development area, a future modern city development project that prioritizes sustainable technology.

The working visit in Vienna continued with a large wastewater treatment company in Austria, Aqua Consult, to discuss the company's participation in building IPAL facilities with energy efficiency technology in further development at Nusantara. The delegation then held a meeting with a business actor named EEE Austria, a company engaged in digital learning based employee training which has collaborated with the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia.


Also present on the agenda mentioned above were the President of Hungary for the 2012-2022 period, Janos Ader; Indonesian Ambassador to Hungary, Dimas Wahab; Indonesian Ambassador to Slovakia, Pribadi Sutiono; Indonesian Ambassador to Austria, Damos Dumoli Agusman; and Director General of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Daniel Lorincz.
