NCA Invites the Community Back to Prepare Themselves Through Entrepreneurship Training

PENAJAM PASER UTARA – The Nusantara Capital Authority (NCA) invites the community around the NNC area back to continue to prepare themselves in line with the increasingly rapid development of Nusantara. Moreover, according to data from the Ministry of State Apparatus Utilization and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB), in 2024 there will be 16,990 civil servant, TNI (Army), Polri (Indonesia Republic Police) who will move to Nusantara.

Deputy for Social, Cultural and Community Empowerment at the NCA, Alimuddin, said that next year, when government offices operate, they will definitely need a lot of skilled workers. "That's hundreds of people who will be recruited, we will prepare security, cleaning services, etc.," he said.

To prepare human resources that can compete, the NCA is collaborating with the Samarinda Vocational and Productivity Training Center (BPVP) to hold Competency Based Training. This time, the government opened four types of training, namely making of bread and cake training; fish processing; making of batik; and sewing adult women's clothing.

"After this, of course we won't stop, (training) will continue with different people," said Alimuddin. Besides that, he reiterated that so that people do not just become spectators, people must continue to practice seriously. Alimuddin hopes that the presence of Nusantara will bring prosperity to the community, especially those in the Nusantara area.

On the same occasion, the Acting Regent of North Penajam Paser (PPU) Makmur Marbun said that he hoped that the community could really take advantage of the potential that exists from the presence of Nusantara. "I would be guilty if my community were only spectators of Nusantara's presence. "Because of that, we have to walk, we have to run, we have to prepare and understand the task," he said.

Besides that, he revealed that in the future the PPU Regency Government will prioritize increasing human resource competency so that they are able to compete in Nusantara. "I also convey that the APBD structure must go in that direction. Therefore, training like this must (be carried out)," he conveyed.

According to the Head of BPVP Samarinda Muhammad Yasir, training will be held from Monday to Saturday with a duration of 8 hours per day. Training will be carried out in a number of places in Sepaku District from September 26th, 2023 to October 16th, 2023.

Yasir said that the training participants came from the Sepaku area and some of the people who received compensation for land rights from the Nusantara development. "I received information that this participant was the one who received compensation so that his budget would not go anywhere, it would not be sold, so we would provide training," he said.

For your information, in the future training will also be carried out in other locations within the Nusantara area. Registration information and training schedules will be announced through village officials in each region.
