NCA Attended the Business Forum Indonesia-France 2023 in Paris, Strengthening Cooperation in the Investment Sector

PARIS – In order to strengthen investment cooperation between the Nusantara National Capital and investment partner countries, especially France, the NNC Authority Team led by the Chairman of the Nusantara Capital Authority (NCA), Bambang Susantono attended the Business Forum Indonesia-France 2023 organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in France and the Mouvement des Entreprises de France (MEDEF) in Paris, France on Wednesday (4/10/2023) morning local time.

France is a country that has the potential to become an Indonesian foreign investor in the development of the Nusantara. NCA has previously held virtual meetings with several investors and now is the right time to hold face-to-face meetings, so that it can strengthen investment cooperation. This is in line with Bambang Susantono's statement to the media, "The NCA wants looking for investment opportunities and collaborating with potential investors in France. Some of the companies we met were the result of follow-up with various parties,"

This meeting was based on investment cooperation which refers to the five basic characteristics of the development of the Nusantara, such as green, inclusive, smart, tough, and sustainable. Besides that, investment cooperation in the technology sector was also the focus of cooperation at this meeting. "There are many things that can be explored, one of which is in the field of technology," emphasized the Chairman of NCA. Accompanying the meeting in Paris was the Deputy for Green and Digital Transformation, Prof. Mohammed Ali Berawi, Deputy for Social, Cultural and Community Empowerment, Drs. H. Alimuddin, M.Si, and Special Staff for Public Safety of the NNC Authority, Brigadier General (Pol) Edgar Diponegoro.

The chairman of the NCA also met with Gerard Wolff as senior advisor for the Sustainable Cities Program from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and at the same time as Chair of the MEDEF Sustainable Cities Acceleration (French chamber of commerce and industry organization) for lessons in realizing Nusantara as a green city. On that occasion, several companies also attended this meeting, such as Archetype Group, Egis, Kaptels, and HDF.

It is also hoped that Nusantara can become a culturally insightful city so that it can become an attraction for local and international communities. Therefore, on the same day the Head of the Indonesian Capital Authority and his team discussed with the management of the Louvre Museum Paris and the next day they planned to visit the Louvre Museum Paris.
