NUSANTARA - Marking the commencement of construction, President Joko Widodo conducted the groundbreaking ceremony for Jambuluwuk Nusantara Hotel on Wednesday (17/1/2024) in the Nusantara Capital. This hotel, designed with a modern ethnic Indonesian concept that incorporates smart and green solutions, will be a five-star establishment built by Jambuluwuk Hotels & Resorts.

Jambuluwuk Nusantara Hotel, designed by I Nyoman Nuarta, will be constructed on a 5,461 square meter land with 200 rooms and an estimated investment value of around IDR 300 billion. The hotel will focus on hosting small, large, regional, national, and even international meetings. It will also feature retail shops, restaurants, and cafes.

The Chairman of the Nusantara Capital Authority, Bambang Susantono, expressed his support for the construction of this hotel, stating, "Because the hotel focuses on meeting services and has retail shops, it is expected that local SMEs can participate and will empower the community around Nusantara."

In line with Bambang, President Joko Widodo is also confident that Jambuluwuk Nusantara Hotel will make a significant contribution to the growth of IKN and provide additional accommodation for Nusantara visitors.

"This hotel will increase the number of operating hotels in the Nusantara Capital, adding to the availability of hotel rooms so that guests visiting Nusantara Capital will not have difficulty finding accommodation," said the President.

The President Director of Jambuluwuk Hotels & Resorts, Wiraseno, proudly stated that they are developing this local ethnic hotel in Nusantara. "We want to continue to participate in the development of the tourism industry in Indonesia, especially in Nusantara. We hope that this collaboration brings significant benefits to the local community and contributes positively to the growth of this region."
