JAKARTA - The Nusantara Capital Authority (NCA) held the opening of Nusantara Fair 2024 at the Grand Atrium, Mall Kota Kasablanka, Jakarta, on Friday (01/26/2024).

Nusantara Fair aims to provide information to the public, especially the younger generation in Jakarta and its surroundings, about the vision and concept of the new capital currently in the construction phase.

Through exhibitions and educational activities, the event also invites the public to explore the cultural richness, innovation, and potential of Nusantara as the new capital. Visitors can easily learn about the location, facilities, and various information about investment opportunities, conservation and the environment, MSMEs, and technology. There are even models of the Nusantara Capital and various photos of activities in Nusantara.

The Chairman of the NCA, Bambang Susantono, emphasized, "This exhibition is designed to convey information in a popular and enjoyable way through various artistic and technological creations so that it is easily understood by the public, especially the younger generation. Nusantara Fair 2024 serves as a platform to inform that development in Nusantara always involves various components of society, including those around Nusantara. We hope this event can be an inspirational and educational information and communication tool for all visitors."

The opening event of the Nusantara Festival 2024 also marked the signing of several cooperation agreements between the NCA and Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) as well as several private parties. This collaboration aims to support the process of building and developing the new capital.

Not only providing insights into the development of the new capital, the agenda held until Sunday, January 28, 2024, is also enlivened by performances from the RAN band and various renowned artists such as Isyana Sarasvati, Andien, and Diskoria.

Before the RAN performance, the event was filled with discussions about Nusantara and technology investment presented by Prof. Ali Berawi, Deputy for Green and Digital Technology, and Wisnu Kumoro, a young figure engaged in tech review, creative consulting, podcasting, and songwriting.
