JAKARTA – The Nusantara Capital Authority (NCA) through the Deputy for Green and Digital Transformation welcomed a visit from Seoul University to discuss advanced education programs for NCA employees at the NCA Jakarta Office on Monday, (22/01/2024).
"We (NCA) invite all national and international universities partner to become Knowledge Partners of the NCA," said the Deputy for Green and Digital Transformation, Prof. Mohammed Ali Berawi.
Knowledge Partners will be one of the sources of development to enhance the quality of Human Resources in Nusantara. In addition, NCA also invites Seoul University to participate in research implementation in Nusantara, in areas such as energy, food, and transportation; social-humanities; environmental conservation; as well as technology and informatics.
In response to the invitation, Professor Chunho Yeom and Professor Hyemin Park, along with seven practitioner students, offered several advanced education programs for Nusantara, including the Master of Urban Administration of Planning, Master of Urban Development, and Master of Infrastructure Planning and Development.
Professor Chunho appreciated the development of Nusantara until now; he said, "I visited Nusantara Region a year ago, and it turns out that the progress of Nusantara is very rapid."
Previously, the Capital City Authority of Nusantara had signed memoranda of understanding with the University of Indonesia, Gadjah Mada University, Mulawarman University, and Bandung Institute of Technology. International collaborations were also initiated with Stanford-Doerr University and Northern Illinois University (USA), the University of Turku (Finland), as well as Leiden - Erasmus - Delft Universities (Netherlands).
